Español Deluxe

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 29, 2026

These are the terms for using Español Deluxe. By creating an account, you agree to them. We kept them short and in plain language.

1. What the app does 2. Your account 3. Subscription & billing 4. Your license to use the app 5. Acceptable use 6. Who owns what 7. No professional advice 8. Limitation of liability 9. Suspending or closing accounts 10. Governing law 11. Contact

1. What the app does — and doesn't do

Español Deluxe is a self-paced Spanish vocabulary app: daily practice, categories of words and phrases, and progress tracking. It is a learning tool, not a certified course, a tutor, or a substitute for a human teacher, and it does not guarantee fluency or any specific learning outcome — results depend on how much you practice.

2. Your account

We use passwordless sign-in (a "magic link" sent to your email) — there's no password to create or remember. You're responsible for keeping access to the email address you signed up with, since that's how you get back into your account.

3. Subscription & billing

Español Deluxe is offered on a subscription basis, billed through our payment processor, Hotmart. Current plans:

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price above, until you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before your free trial ends and before you're charged for the first time. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage plan inside the app, or directly through Hotmart — cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically refund a charge that already happened (see our Refund Policy for that). Hotmart processes your payment directly; we never see or store your card details.

4. Your license to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Español Deluxe for your own learning, for as long as your subscription is active. You may not resell it, share your account, or copy its content for another product.

5. Acceptable use

Don't try to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the app or its systems, and don't use it for anything illegal. That's really it — we don't need a long list.

6. Who owns what

All the app's content — the words, images, design, and code — belongs to Español Deluxe. Your own data (your progress, your account info) is yours; see our Privacy Policy for how you can access, export, or delete it. Español Deluxe does not use AI to generate its content — everything in the app is built by hand, so there are no AI-output ownership questions to resolve.

7. No professional advice

Español Deluxe provides general language-learning content only. It is not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind, and nothing in the app should be treated as such.

8. Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep the app accurate and running, but it's provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, Español Deluxe is not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that violates section 5 (acceptable use) or that we're required to act on by law. We'll email you the reason when we can. You can close your own account anytime — see Privacy Policy, section 7.

10. Governing law

Español Deluxe is operated by Karla Luesch, a sole proprietor (ZZP) registered in the Netherlands — Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 99817004, VAT (BTW) identification number NL005412309B73. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

These terms match exactly what the app does today — including the $119.88/year and $14.99/month prices shown at checkout. If pricing or the trial length ever change, this page updates first.
